brief:
An
invitation to The Banqueting House
Solution:
This
job was a lot of fun. When left alone at the Banqueting House (Whitehall
Palace) I rekindled an interest in British history by realising that King
Charles I had been beheaded in the very same building. This invitation to
treasury related folk (who reguarly 'execute' deals) mimicks the execution
warrant with wax seals, aged parchment and black ribbon. We continued the
theme in the copy - 'summoning' attendees, warning them that they could
not bring cattle or livestock into the hall!
