brief:
1200 invitations for a special party themed on the Seven Deadly Sins.
Solution:
The idea of a selection of hand made chocolates in a box was perfect. The chocolates were themed in flavours and fillings and printed with edible transfers. The invitation wording was printed on the crinkly tray cover. The box was screen printed red velvet. Research showed that each sin has a historical colour and punisment. ‘Pride’ for instance is violet in colour, it is defined as ‘An excessive belief in one’s own abilities’ and punishable in hell by being ‘broken at the wheel.’
It gives me no pride whatsoever to say that this was a resounding and absolute HIT with all who saw or were lucky enough to receive it.
